Koto City Fukagawa Edo Museum
The Fukagawa Edo Museum in Koto City offers a full-size reproduction of the townscape of the Fukugawa Sagacho community as it appeared in the late Edo period, a time known as the Tenpō era. In addition to the use of sounds and lighting to recreate the changing atmosphere throughout each day, visitors can also enjoy hands-on exhibits that let them climb into the shops and Nagaya long houses to interact with the implements of daily life.
